Bond It Rescue Tape Self-Fusing Silicone Repair Tape 3.05 m (1 x 12 ft) | Waterproof, Heat-Resistant, High-Pressure Seal

• Self-Fusing Seal: Bonds only to itself when stretched and wrapped, creating a permanent seal without adhesives or sticky residue
• Leak Repair Solution: Ideal for pipes, hoses, fittings, plumbing connections, and emergency repairs requiring a waterproof, airtight seal
• Electrical Insulation: Suitable for insulating wiring and electrical connections while helping protect exposed areas in demanding conditions
• Extreme Durability: Resists fuels, oils, acids, solvents, salt water, road salt, UV exposure, and temperatures from -85°F to 500°F
• Versatile Applications: Suitable for home, automotive, marine, RV, workshop, outdoor maintenance, tool handles, and custom seals

• Prepare the Surface — Clean the area to be repaired thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the surface is dry and free from dirt, oil, or grease for optimal adhesion. For painted or porous surfaces, test in an inconspicuous area first.
• Stretch and Wrap — Begin wrapping the tape around the damaged area, stretching it by 200-300% as you go. Overlap each layer by at least half the tape's width to ensure a complete and fused seal.
• Fuse and Cure — Continue wrapping past the damaged area by at least 2 inches on each side. Once wrapped, press the tape firmly to activate the self-fusing process. The tape will bond to itself, creating a permanent, watertight, and airtight seal.
