Unlock Vintage Lens Potential for Modern Cine & CCTV
Fotasy MD Lens to C Mount Adapter enables Minolta MD Mount lenses to be used on C-Mount cameras, including CCTV, cine, and microscope systems. This adapter ensures infinity focus, allowing you to capture sharp images at a distance. It is constructed with a solid and durable copper lens mount for longevity.
This adapter requires manual adjustment for exposure and focus, as it does not feature electrical contacts. Functions like automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and aperture control are not supported. The 16mm cine mount compatibility makes it ideal for specialized video production and scientific imaging applications.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, this Fotasy adapter offers a cost-effective way to expand your camera's lens compatibility. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping across India.
Unlock Your Minolta MD Lenses
Fotasy's adapter bridges the gap between your Minolta MD lenses and C-mount camera systems. This means you can leverage the optical quality of your existing prime lenses for new creative projects in cine, CCTV, or microscopy. Unlike local alternatives that might offer limited compatibility or require complex modifications, this adapter provides a direct, reliable connection. It's designed for users who value precision and want to expand their creative toolkit without investing in entirely new lens sets. The durable copper construction ensures it withstands regular use, making it a dependable choice for serious hobbyists and professionals alike.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This adapter is ideal for photographers and videographers who own Minolta MD lenses and want to use them on C-mount cameras for manual focus cine, CCTV, or microscope applications. It's perfect for those who appreciate manual control and don't require electronic communication between the lens and camera. However, if you need autofocus, auto-aperture, or electronic image stabilization, this adapter is not suitable. Users with C-mount cameras that lack manual exposure and focus capabilities should also look for different solutions. For those seeking a simple, robust adapter for manual cine work, this Fotasy option is a strong contender.
