• Easy to Use – The process is super easy to follow. Simply add dye to hot water with 1 tsp of liquid dish detergent and submerge whatever fabric you want dyed until your desired shade of that color is achieved.

• Components – Each kit includes an 8 oz. bottle of the color of your choice, as well as a pair of disposable Latex/Powder free plastic gloves to protect your skin from the dye.

• Prepare Dye Bath — In a heatproof container or washing machine, mix the 8 oz bottle of Rit Dye with 1 teaspoon of liquid dish detergent. Add enough hot water (around 160°F/71°C) to allow the fabric to move freely.
• Dye Fabric — Submerge your pre-washed fabric (cotton, rayon, linen, silk, nylon, or blends up to 35% polyester) into the dye bath. Stir continuously for at least 10-30 minutes until the desired shade is achieved.
• Rinse and Wash — Carefully remove the fabric and rinse in cold water until the water runs clear. Wash the dyed item in warm water with a mild detergent. For the first few washes, wash separately to prevent color bleeding.
