• Prepare the Plates — Cut the plates to desired size if needed, and spot your compounds using a micro-pipette or capillary tube.
• Develop the Plates — Place the plates in a TLC tank with mobile phase, ensuring the solvent level is below the spotting line, and develop until the solvent front reaches the top.
• Visualize & Analyze — Remove plates, dry, and visualize under UV light at 254nm. Record Rf values and analyze compound separation.
