Pentek P25 Sediment Water Filter Cartridge 25 Micron 10-Inch x 2.5-Inch | NSF Certified Sediment Reduction

• KEEPS YOUR WATER CLEANER - Reduces dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particles from residential, commercial, and municipal drinking water, helping protect your appliances, plumbing, and downstream filters.
• TRUE GRADIENT DENSITY - Pure 100% polypropylene fibers are spun together to form a true gradient density from the outer to inner surface, capturing coarse particles outside and finer particles within.
• PURE POLYPROPYLENE MEDIA - Coreless construction is sintered into a solid matrix for strength, will not impart taste, odor, or color, and offers superior chemical resistance for chlorinated and non-chlorinated water.
• FITS 10-INCH STANDARD HOUSINGS - Maximum dimensions of 2.38" x 9.88" let this cartridge replace any 10" x 2.5" sediment filter in standard under-sink and reverse osmosis housings.
• LOW PRESSURE DROP - Just 0.2 psi at 5 gpm with a 40 to 145 degrees F temperature range; ideal as a high-flow pre-filter, replace when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.

• Turn Off Water Supply — Locate your water filter housing and shut off the main water supply line leading to it. Open a nearby faucet to release any residual pressure in the system before proceeding.
• Remove Old Cartridge — Using a filter housing wrench, carefully unscrew the filter housing. Remove the old sediment cartridge, noting its orientation. Dispose of the old cartridge properly.
• Install New Cartridge & Flush — Insert the new Pentek P25 cartridge into the housing. Screw the housing back on securely. Turn the water supply back on slowly and check for leaks. Flush the system for 5-10 minutes by running water through a faucet to remove any air or carbon fines.
