Pentek P1 Sediment Water Filter Cartridge 1 Micron 10" x 2.5" | NSF Certified for Under-Sink Replacement

• KEEPS YOUR WATER CLEANER - Reduces fine dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particles from residential, commercial, and municipal drinking water, helping protect your appliances, plumbing, and downstream filters.
• TRUE GRADIENT DENSITY - Pure 100% polypropylene fibers are spun together to form a true gradient density from the outer to inner surface, capturing coarse particles outside and finer particles within.
• NSF CERTIFIED MATERIALS - Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements; coreless fibers are sintered into a solid matrix and will not impart taste, odor, or color.
• FITS 10-INCH STANDARD HOUSINGS - Maximum dimensions of 2.38" x 9.88" let this cartridge replace any 10" x 2.5" sediment filter in standard under-sink and reverse osmosis housings.
• LOW PRESSURE DROP - Just 0.6 psi at 5 gpm with a 40 to 145 degrees F temperature range; replace when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.

• Turn Off Water Supply — Locate the water shut-off valve for your under-sink system or main water line and turn it off completely before proceeding.
• Remove Old Cartridge — Using a filter wrench, carefully unscrew the filter housing. Empty any residual water and remove the old sediment cartridge.
• Install New Cartridge — Insert the new Pentek P1 filter into the housing. Ensure it is seated correctly. Screw the housing back on securely, hand-tightening first, then using the wrench if needed.
• Flush System — Turn the water supply back on slowly. Open a nearby faucet and let water run for 5-10 minutes to flush the new filter and remove any air or loose particles.
